Could add the fish too the water without dropping them from ten feet or more. Shows a guy walking down too the water were he could put the net in the water but instead just dumps the fish from the net into the water with force?!
It's better for the fish to drop them in like that rather than putting the net in the water. You can just put the net in the water but your more likely to have a fish die.

I have talked with both the WV and MD DNR about their trout stocking methods. Both do exactly as shown in the video with throwing then in. Don't just assume information unless you've actually talked with people who do this kind of work. Unless you have which I don't know. And yes I will stick to my claim that throwing them in the water is better for them, even in that shallow water. It's clearly proven effective by many states that it does work the best. Now something I will admit that I don't agree with is the height that they are stocking from, they shouldn't be stocked that shallow of a creek from that height. That is a error on their part and should have been fixed but that's that group choice.
